Office Policies

We're here for you.

Our office is open and available to you five days a week, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. In the event you need urgent or emergent care in the evenings or on weekends, one of our doctors is always available.

Appointments for routine or well woman care should be scheduled at your earliest convenience to assure you of time availability to suit your schedule.

If you are part of a health plan or have special health care coverage, please have this information available when you call for your appointment.

It is your responsibility to bring your insurance card, copay and, if required, your referral papers from your primary care provider when you come for your appointment.

In the event you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, please advise our receptionist as soon as possible. This allows us to keep a flexible schedule for all of our patients.

The New Horizons Women's Care office staff is available by phone to assist you with medical questions regarding your obstetrical / gynecological care Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Our nurse returns calls throughout the day in order of priority. If the office staff is unable to answer your medical questions, the physician is always available to you. He/she will be consulted and a medical staff member will return your call as soon as possible.

If you're calling for a prescription refill, please call your pharmacy. They'll take your information and fax a refill request to us, which will be faxed back the same day. Prescription refills should be made during office hours.
